ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted October 25, 2014 Im looking at this spray skid for sale. There is a 300 gal tank, a Honda GTX6 motor with a pump and a Hannaelectric reel that holds about 400 ft of hose. Theguy is asking $450 for the set up. What ya think? ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted October 25, 2014 Iwill use this mainly for a storage tank, clean up the reel (its kinda big but I could easily sell it) and use the honda motor possibly on my existing compressor, if it fits

PeakOfPerfection Report post Posted October 25, 2014 Oh and let me know if you decide to sell the reel.
ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted October 25, 2014 That is one honkin reel. Not sure if I will buy it yet. The tank alone costs 600 bucks new. Not sure about the Honda GTX, didnt find a GTX series motor anywhere
Sussex County Roof Cleaning Report post Posted October 26, 2014 The kuri-tec hose alone probably cost near that $450 mark. Why would you sell the reel? It needs to be cleaned up and repainted but I wouldn't want to reel up 400 ft of hose by hand. As for the tank, Are you able to pull that much weight when its full? Seems a bit large, but whatever. ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted October 26, 2014 Well my current tailer is too small for the reel and I wouldn't mount the tank on a trailer, just use it for storage of SH
ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted November 13, 2014 Going to look at this skid set up on Saturday and probably purchasing.
ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted November 21, 2014 Did not purchase this skid unit. The owner didnt know what size hose he has. It would have been nice to have the reel, it isnt a necessity. With the new 1" pump I need bigger hose and only 200' of it. If I do need more for a job I will get another 200'. Who knows, if the guy still has it in the spring I might pick it up. Besides, I need to save my pennies for a bigger compressor. 1 Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 reacted to this

While even that big 1 inch air pump will "work" with a smaller air compressor, you will not get the awesome performance it is capable of, until you exceed 18 CFM, and 24 is even better! Advantage Roof Cleaning Report post Posted November 25, 2014 Chris, what about tank size of the AC? Let's say the air flow is 20 CFM. What minimum tank size would you recommend?
garyw Report post Posted November 25, 2014 With my system I can let it pump up (175psi) while getting everything ready, shut it off and spray most roofs before it gets to 70 psi. I have an 80gal. tank.

The bigger the tank, the better. This way the roof cleaning pump runs off stored air vs the air compressor running all the time. 1 garyw reacted to this
