SRC Report post Posted June 24, 2014 This post may be applicable to those who do both the contracting side and the cleaning - or may know some roofers that you may be able to work together? Some may think that being a roof contractor and a roof cleaning company doesn’t fit together. A roof contractor is one you rely on to provide a good quality roof replacement that will last for as much as thirty years or more, depending on the shingle selected. A roof cleaning company is interested in cleaning your roof and not replacing it. Actually these two should be exactly what is needed for the homeowner to get an honest and fair inspection and evaluation of the condition of their roof. Advantage Roof Cleaning Report post Posted June 25, 2014 There can be synergy between the two. An honest roofing contractor will refer the HO to a roof cleaner if the roof does not need to be replaced. An honest roof cleaner will refer to HO to a roofing contractor if the roof is at end of life. Also while cleaning a roof if any missing or damaged shingles are identified, the cleaner can recommend a contractor to make the repairs.
PeakOfPerfection Report post Posted June 25, 2014 We get a lot of referrals from our local roofing contractors when customers call them asking where to get the roof cleaned. Likewise, when we run into roofs that are beyond saving, we refer the customer back.
