DomHPD Report post Posted April 30, 2014 All, Im trying to get going with a budget friendly rig, I found: http://roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com/t26532837/bare-minimum-roof-cleaning-rig-for-the-newbie/ but this dates back to 2009, i was wondering if this is a better deal piecing together than one of Bobs kits? Any info would be appreciated

Sussex County Roof Cleaning Report post Posted August 4, 2014 Call Bob, get the pump in the box and be done with it. I just replaced mine and it was like $ 350 or so without the hose. You can spend your time scavenging to find cheaper or you can spend your time makin money.
Advantage Roof Cleaning Report post Posted August 5, 2014 Call Bob, get the pump in the box and be done with it. I just replaced mine and it was like $ 350 or so without the hose. You can spend your time scavenging to find cheaper or you can spend your time makin money. That's what I did when I first started out. It's a good system for starting out that won't break and the bank.
PeakOfPerfection Report post Posted August 5, 2014 I JUST posted a thread entitled: It goes over a lot of the details of what comprises a beginner rig, some of the things you will need, many of things nobody mentions that you will need to have/purchase (like Ladders, insurance, clothing, etc.) and what the differences are between air and electric rigs. It includes real world costs (not pie in the sky) and what the best rig is to buy to actually make money in this business. As stated, don't be afraid to call on the more experienced guys like Chris for advice.

Any info would be appreciated Welcome to the RCIA Dom Like Kevin said, read what he posted, then read it again. Since Tampa is my hometown, and many here learn from me, Tampa is an air pump city. No SERIOUS roof cleaner I know here uses a 12 volt pump. I hope you stick around the RCIA, and become Certified one day. Not cuz I need your Money (I Don't), but because we get roof cleaning calls from the Miami area all the time. I just had one from Kendall Lakes, and one from Davey, Florida last month.
