mikea Report post Posted March 29, 2014 I picked up a new open trailer with wood boards. Before I start laying everything out I would like to coat the trailer to protect it from chemicals. What do you guys think is the best thing to use so the wood doesn't start turning into mush from the SH? Marine paint? Truck bed liner?
Spray Force Report post Posted March 30, 2014 I'm putting my second one together I looked at paint then at rubber mats, and decided to go with Rust oleum's deck coating. I'll let you know how it works out and will post a picture when I get completed
mikea Report post Posted March 31, 2014 I actually just stopped at a pool supply store and asked what they put on their pool decking and they said the Rust oleum deck coating always holds up fine so I'll be using that this week. Looking forward to seeing you rig!
ReNew Roof & Exterior cleaning Report post Posted April 2, 2014 Is the Rustolium Deck paint the real thick chit you roll on or is it in a spray can?
mikea Report post Posted April 2, 2014 Is the Rustolium Deck paint the real thick chit you roll on or is it in a spray can? Yup, they have the 4x and the real thick 10x stuff. Looks like real heavy duty stuff
Advantage Roof Cleaning Report post Posted April 2, 2014 I just de-winterized my trailer and noticed how bad it's rusting! I don't have the time or inclination to sand the rust off and paint it.
mikea Report post Posted April 3, 2014 Exactly why I'm trying to stay ahead of the game while this trailer is new!
