Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 Report post Posted January 8, 2014 Many of you may be unaware that Bronze has just as good chemical resistance as stainless steel to the roof cleaning chemicals, and costs less! Plastics like Kynar or PVC are always best for fittings, however these plastic fittings can easily crack when stepped on, etc, etc. Bronze is a lower cost alternative to stainless steel http://www.wholesalemarine.com/groco-pipe-to-hose-bronze-fitting-79052.html?gclid=CLOAvI_v7rsCFShk7AodJDoAXw

Advantage Roof Cleaning Report post Posted April 22, 2014 I found it cheaper to use an inexpensive bronze quick connect for my sprayer than the original stainless steel one I started out with. Also I grease it at the end of the day to help extend it's usefulness..
