Make Your Own GutterCane for $10.98

Recommended Posts

Why would you buy a $100.00 GutterCane when you can make one for less than $11.00?

This is what you'll need:

(1) 10' Stick of 3/4" Plain Schedule 40 PVC Pipe - $2.28

(1) 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC Street 90 degree elbow - $1.26

(1) 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC 90 degree elbow - $0.47

(1) 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC Pressure Slip x FPT Adapter - $0.56

(1) 3/4" x 3/4" Tapped 1/2" Lead-Free Brass FGH x MIP Adapter - $4.17

(1) 3/4" PVC Slip Ball Valve - $2.15

You have the option of adding a quick disconnect, but that will run you another $5.49.

You are awesome Art Oliveri!

What a great find!

For 20 bucks, that's a no brainer, but how long do they hold up ?

What are they made out of? My only concern would be the longevity of the metal(s).

Mine too! I have used aluminum wands, in the past, and they soften and break in about 3 months! Still, the ones Art posted are cheap, and cheaper then laying new Sod!

Off topic a bit, but this forums Blogs are kicking ass ! Literally! They have enough SEO Clout to break into any local search, if they are shared on Twitter and Facebook, and in our Google+ Roof Cleaning Community.

For the first time I can ever remember, it is now possible to aim at any local search term you wish, and be in it within 2 weeks!

Much credit for this must be given to Steve and you Bob! You guys "borrowed" the URL of this forum, roofcleaninginstitute.org, and built it up to page rank 3 !

Then, you gave it back to all of us, giving this forum a real kick in the ass!
