We Now Offer Price Pumps!

Recommended Posts

The 3/4" pump is off the menu for the time being. I noticed some discrepancies in the specs and contacted them. They discovered I was right and the specification are NOT conrrect. I had a meeting with the VP of Price last week and he apologizes. They completely missed the errors over the last decade and if you look at their website, the pump specs are currently not there as they re-test.

So...for anybody looking at a 3/4" Price, I can currently sell the 1" Price in Poly for the SAME COST. And yes, the specs on that pump ARE correct. This is a smoking deal. They also said you cannot stall their pumps. A 1" Pump with a 2.5 CFM air compressor will prove that this coming week.

Kevin I've done my fair share of research and contracted about 4 distributors and they all say the 1050 husky is much better than the Price pumps (they sell both). All 4 of them agreed. I understand you sell these so to each his own but when I went to your website you list this " 1” Pump. Poly/Viton. $1595. This is the beast we recommend for customers who handle very large projects. With up to 50 GPM of flow and the ability to handle vertical head lifts of up to 250 ft. you can hit a 10 story building with a 20 CFM compressor. "  There is no way on this earth you are reaching 10 stories or 250 FT with this 1 in pump. Hell a fire truck can hardly hit these distances so I don't understand why you are listing stuff like this unless its just to make sales off guys that just don't know any better. If I am wrong can you make a video with you hitting 10 stories or 250 feet?

Thanks

Seriously? It does VERTICAL LIFTS to 10 stories with a 20 CFM compressor. And I'll put it up again a 1050 with a 20 CFM compressor any day of the week. Bring it.

If you have a personal issue with me, take it private.

Man I am just calling it how I see it. Ill keep it short because I don't want to start a pissing contest with you but your an admin and also a distributor whos pushing products only you sell and creating sales funnels. There are sales sections in the fourm that you can post to for vendors. The RCIA should be about learning and good quality info not a admin trying to sell products.

The ONLY admin or Moderator here is me :)

Kevin once WAS a Moderator/Admin, but that was before he started selling stuff.

He is what his title says he is, a Vendor Member.

EDIT - Here are a page of Admin Logs, and as can be clearly seen, the only one doing any moderating here, is me

perfect

I totally understand your concerns about Vendors being Moderators, or Admin's in charge of things.

LOL, you don't dare say any thing negative about the stuff they sell, for fear of being banned, edited, or ridiculed.

This happens all the time on Facebook, because many Facebook Groups are little more than one big sales machine for certain vendors, or ORG's :(

I agree but when you were a admin or have a lot of your own personal post pinned to the top and then you only say the products you sell are the best or one sided  point of view to get sales that's wrong and bad info and will not help the RCIA at all. If your a vendor then post when the other vendors do for the products. If the RCIA is all about creating sales then so be it.. I am just saying giving these guys info or view points on products you only sell is not un biased. You sell product A or B then great but dont say product cdefg are junk or not as good just because you dont sell it. That's all i am saying and there is not 1 other vendor that does this on this forum. If your going to be a vendor then post products you sell and that's that.. Its a fourm and if the info is miss leading then I think anyone should be able to speak up. In my opinion I feel like the new guys are just not getting info they are getting products that are funneled from the site info should be #1 sales should be #2 just my opinion.

I've written a ton of posts without any specific product reference. Had a LOT of guys thank me for the posts and a lot of calls and emails on plumbing, tanks setups, system builds and nearly every sticky in the Premium forum. If people object to those, then I'll ask Chris to take them down.

I probably get 30-50 calls and messages a week with guys looking for help with builds. It isn't unual for me to stay up to midnight helping some guy trying to diagnose a build problem so he can be on the job site the next morning. Some end up buying from me, some build their own, some go a different route. As a vendor member, I make no bones about what I feel are the best products, but that comes from time and experience in actually running a multi truck cleaning operation and rebuilding hundreds of pumps, not to mention over 30 complete systems for different customers in 3 different countries and 5 different states. I dare say i've had more AODD pumps through my hands than anybody in the industry and have learned a thing or two about them.

A lot of the things I recommend and have turned the industry on to like the Eaton Compressors and the Tsunami Water separators, neither of which I make one red cent on. I don't make a dime on the sealed tank system design that is helping guys avoid the corrosion issues that have plagued the industry for years. I've also helped countless guys diagnose 12 volt issues, plumbing issues, air issues, hose issues, reel issues. Ive put probably thousands of hours into helping people with builds. A lot of those hours don't result in sales, but I actually enjoy it.

If it isn't appreciated or wanted, so be it. I'll delete the stickied articles you find offensive. Chris will inform me it is time to fuck off. I've got better things to do than to get into a pissing contest here.

It looks like I lied :(  It was accidental. I said Kevin was not a Moderator here, but until a few seconds ago, that was not true.

I fixed it now, and I agree, no vendor shall be a moderator, it just isn't right.

Kevin has the fact that he is a vendor clearly marked, as does Lori.
