Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 It was windy that day, and if you listen real close, you will hear our pump sucking air. Listen to me cough guys, and this will be your fate, if you do not wear a respirator This is part 3 in this series of roof cleaning training videos. 1 Doug Riemer reacted to this
Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 Report post Posted April 19, 2016 Last but not least, here is part 4 in the roof cleaning training videos I made. That is my son Jamie Tucker up on the roof, and I think you can see the truck we had back then, and the green Rol Air Compressor. The pump was a Yamada NDP 15 FVT, and it was sucking air slightly. 1 Doug Riemer reacted to this

PeakOfPerfection Report post Posted April 26, 2016 (edited) Don't walk backwards on the roof. It is a bad habit and one that requires effort to break. Watch the first video at 10:04 to see what I mean. Eventually you will trip over a hose, roof vent, skylight, etc. Tripping on a roof is bad for obvious reasons. Also, on the 2nd video...listen from about 2:00 where he is spraying the roof edges with the valve partially closed to restrict the flow. At about 2:10 seconds he opens the valve up to full bore and the pump increases speed. You can only throttle the pump back and open it up like that with an Air Diaphragm pump without eventually doing damage. Other than that...where's all the Moss and the hours of rinsing? That is too easy! Edited April 26, 2016 by PeakOfPerfection 2 Doug Riemer and Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 reacted to this
Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 Report post Posted April 26, 2016 Good videos and watering protection tips Chris! Where's the PPE?Normally, my Son always uses a respirator, but these videos were made sort of "spur of the moment". We took our back up truck, and depended on the respirator to be on the truck. It was not Unknown to us at the time, our employees took thhe respirator off this back up truck, w/o telling us, or replacing it.

That is too easy! This is very very true. My Son has always been quite athletic, but you can see him almost trip over the hose, in one of these videos It is a very bad habit I have been trying to break him of for years. Michiana Clean Report post Posted May 16, 2016 In part 2 of 4, That house, would you say you could spray from the ground and some ladder time with a different nozzle and accomplish the same quality of job with some compromise to the time it took you? Thank you for posting these videos for us yet-to-pay members!
Apple Roof Cleaning (813) 655-8777 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 In part 2 of 4, That house, would you say you could spray from the ground and some ladder time with a different nozzle and accomplish the same quality of job with some compromise to the time it took you? Thank you for posting these videos for us yet-to-pay members! It is always best to walk a roof that can be walked, it uses less chemical, and takes less time that way. But yes, it could be sprayed from a ladder.

Im just surprised to see him in shorts, short sleeves and no gloves.Id be so paranoid about getting sh on the skin. Thanks for posting these. The no glove thing is huge but I wear shorts and short sleeves all the time. I figure having a heat stroke is way worse than getting a little mix on me every now and then. 1 Curb Appeal Roof Cleaning reacted to this
