Doug Riemer Report post Posted August 2, 2015 I got a question my new machines are here and set up these have the bypass lines that can run back to the tank. From what i gather with this i can set the wand on the ground and walk away since the water reciculates back to the tank. From what ive read i could walk away and run the machine out of gas since water just goes back to the tank.Is this so way i was doing it if i had to walk away id open ball valve and sit on the ground but sucking 16 gallons a minute out on the ground is wastefull. What is yalls thoughts couple minutes i couldnt see the reason to step away for more than 5 or ten minutes but things happen if i notice something that needs my attetion and need step away i dont want to have to run back if not needed ZThanks in advance
Roof Cleaning Virginia Report post Posted August 2, 2015 Running in bypass is no big deal for the commercial machines with an external by-pass. We tend to shut ours off more for fuel savings and to stop the noise of the motor than anything else.
Aqua Clean Solutions Inc Report post Posted August 2, 2015 Ted is correct, the bypass mode is just so the pump stays cool . Use the your ball valve shut off on your hose and just let the machine run ( 5 or so min ) if its for longer periods of time just shut down, your just wasting fuel and noise .That what I do and that's over 4-6 hours at a time.
