I have been in business here in Charlotte and S. Sarasota Counties since 1989 Visit my website: http://www.bergmanpressurewashing.com/ I AM ONE OF THE FEW "CERTIFIED" ROOF CLEANERS IN THE WHOLE STATE!-- http://roof-cleaning-institute.activeboard.com/f523639/roof-cleaning-englewood-fl/ Watch me gently clean these roofs on Youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNX4h0tWvQU What you see in the above videos, is all that is done to clean roofs 100%. A pressure washing machine is never started up during the cleaning process and never should be. It's a simple 1 part, self cleaning application of roofing manufacturer specified cleaning agents. Many manufacturers say specifically "Do Not Pressure Wash" Be wise and stick with the roofing manufacturers only specified cleaning chemicals - Bleach, soap and water. Plus only use those same manufacturers specific Non-Pressure chemical cleaning on your roof! Pressure Washing Your Roof Could Void The Manufacturer's Warranty + Damage it! Here is also a video of us cleaning a tile roof. No roof should be blasted with a 3000 to 4000 lb [psi] pressure washer! Especially since no pressure at all is needed! At Chuck Bergman Roof Cleaning and Pressure Washing, clearly we do all types of pressure cleaning and have done so since 1989 here in Charlotte & Southern Sarasota County. We just don't pressure clean roofing, because it is the wrong way to clean a roof. It causes too much wear & damage. The roofing manufacturer links below all say to use this method. They all also say specifically "DO NOT PRESSURE WASH" {GAF Roofing Manufacturer} http://georgoulisroofing.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/Algae_Staining_on_Shingled_Roof_Surfaces_-_Steep_Slope_Techn-43-808-v3.pdf {CORNING Roofing Manufacturer} Click number 1 "algae growth" http://roofing.owenscorning.com/homeowner/thingsyoushouldknow/needaroof.aspx {ARMA Roofing Manufacturer Association Cleaning Bulletin} http://www.asphaltroofing.org/algae-discoloration-roofs This roofing manufacturer association also says not to allow anyone to apply any roof coatings, meant to deter the re-growth of algae. One reason they give, is none have proven successful. This is a common sales gimmick. Usually pressure washing companies-not roof cleaning companies-will pressure wash your roof and then sell you an after coating, which they want to walk your roof and reapply every 2 years. 2 Years is the length of the after-coating warranty. That's because most roofs stay clean at least that long anyway. However, roofs cleaned properly, without a pressure washer, usually only need cleaning every 3-4 years-almost double that of a power wash job! Product names like Roof-A-this and Roof-A-That , Roof Armer-Coat etc {Names changed} are "after" coatings, or "Field" coatings. The below link from This roofing manufacturer association, warns not to allow after-coatings. http://www.asphaltroofing.org/sites/default/files/tech-bulletin/tb_227.pdf Call for a free firm price quote. I look at most jobs in person. I have no work crews. If you get my answering machine, please leave your Name - Address - Home Phone Number - and A Brief Description Of The Work You Need Done. The machine only records 1 full minute. I "TRY" to look at any job that leaves the above information the same day, or at the latest, the next day. Because of the many solicitation calls I get, I don't call anyone back who just leaves a name and phone number. 90% are selling something! 5% CASH Discount offered to those over 60 years of age. I am Chuck Bergman. I started my pressure washing business here in Charlotte County in 1989. My son joined me in 1994 and has been with me ever since! 20 years this year! Call 941-698-1959 We pressure clean: Houses, Condos, Pool Enclosures-cages, Decks, Driveways and Sidewalks. We don't power wash roofing, because it's the wrong way to do it! Roofing requires a gentler process, simply because pressure washing is too rough on the roofing, as it is necessary to get quite close, in order to remove the black algae discolorations. The method and cleaning agents we use are those specified by roofing manufacturers and by the ARMA roofing association. You can read what they say here- http://www.bergmanpressurewashing.com/Manufacturer_Specifics.html My business is licensed and insured and I am a "Certified" roof cleaner and roof cleaning instructor, through the RCIA. Here you can watch me cleaning a couple of roofs on Youtube - Here is another, of a tile roof-
