  1. Here is a great example of how regular maintenance can help extend the life of your roof. This asphalt shingle roof cleaning we did recently made a huge difference in the appearance, but it also helped extend the life of this roof. This photo is from the back of the roof before and after cleaning. Although this roof wasn't very old at 6-8 yrs old, and had no trees covering it, the roof was still subject to algae and mold. The spores that affect your roof are airborne, and can spread from one home to the next. The black streaks caused by the algae on your roof usually take a number of years to become noticeable. In this case, the roof actually didn't look too terrible, until part of it was cleaned. Looking at our Jacksonville roof cleaning photos, you can immediately see just how bad the roof was before our technicians restored it. Many people think as long as their roof is out in the open, gets good sun, and doesn't have tress over it, that there is nothing to worry about. The truth is, devastating roof algae can attack any roof under almost any conditions. This goes double for humid and mostly tropical areas like Florida. If your roof is older than five years old, and it's color is darkening or looking dull, you need a roof cleaning. The algae that infests roofs can cause damage and granule loss, as well as lower the curb appeal and value of your property. Save money over replacement by having a professional certified contractor like Ultrasoft Pressure Washing LLC clean your roof for you. Have questions about roof cleaning? Call our top Jacksonville, Florida roof cleaning experts today. 904-304-0810
  2. Roof Cleaning Lisle, Illinois in DuPage County – The owner of this house did his homework by researching the cause of those dirty streaks and stains on his roof. He learned that they are NOT an indication that the roof is old and needs to be replaced. But instead the black streaks are from the excretion of algae commonly referred to as roof mold. In short, “it’s not old, it’s mold.” So with the intent to maximize the life of the roof and thus delaying the large cost of a roof replacement, the owner had the algae and dirty stains safety removed by a profession roof cleaner. The roof is now in a healthy condition with many more years of useful live expected.
  3. We recently completed a Cedar Shake roof cleaning and restoration in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham, WA. This roof was extremely dirty, encrusted with moss/lichen/mushrooms and in dire need of cleaning. We utilized our non pressure cleaning system along with low pressure high volume air to remove the years of moss, lichen, algae, wood rot fungus, pine needles, leaves and debris. While others claimed that this roof was unsalvageable, we think the results speak for themselves. If you have a cedar roof from Blaine to Seattle, WA, don't replace it until you contact us. Restoration costs a fraction of replacement and adds thousands and thousands of dollars of property value (ideal for marketing if you are planning to sell your home). Contact us at http://www.deadmoss.com Peak of Perfection Roof Cleaning. Cedar Cleaning, Service and Restoration from Blaine to Seattle Washington. Before Cleaning. Dirty, encrusted with moss, lichen, and black rot fungus. After Restoration. Yes, this IS the same roof!
  4. We just finished another Cedar Shake Roof cleaning and restoration in Bellingham, WA. This 8000+ sq ft estate was cleaned, oiled and all debris removed by our crew over a multi day period to meet a tight escrow deadline. It was covered in pine needles and infested with black wood rot fungus, now removed using our non pressure Sullivan Cedar Cleaning System and safe compressed air. The results speak for themselves. Contact Kevin at Peak of Perfection Roof Cleaning for your Cedar Shake Roof Cleaning and restoration in Washington State. Before Cleaning and Conditioning. The cedar was black and full of pine needles and some moss. This property had two different aged roofs on it. Black Rot Fungus. This was after removing tons of pine needle debris using safe low pressure compressed air. After Cleaning and conditioning. Ready for many more years of service. Older section right after oiling. It will lighten up over the next week to a beautiful dark honey tone. Main Roof.
  5. Roof Cleaning Hindsdale, Illinois in DuPage County – This roof was heavily infested with moss. Moss is commonly identified as a green spongy organism. Roofs in shaded areas are most susceptible to moss. Moss is especially damaging to roof shingles as it grows roots and retains constant moisture on the shingles. This quickly diminishes the integrity of the shingles. Left untreated it will result in a shortened lifespan of the roof and thus a costly roof replacement. Fortunately for the owner’s of this house, we were able to effectively treat the moss with our safe roof cleaning process and avoid the high cost of replacing the roof. What’s growing on your roof?
  6. What an exciting opportunity. Thanks to a very good repeat customer, Ultrasoft Pressure Washing LLC had the opportunity to show off our roof cleaning skills on a very dirty slate roof. Slate roof cleaning is pretty straight forward, much like tile roof cleaning, but not every case is the same. Today we cleaned a roof that (as far as is known) hasn't had any treatment or cleaning for over 40 years! On a beautiful historic home in the lovely San Marco area of Jacksonville, Florida was one nasty slate roof. Our slate roof cleaning included the same kind of steps we perform on many other roofs. Apply our proprietary roof cleaning solution, while protecting all plants and vegetation, and restore the roof to it's original color. In this case, getting a perfect restoration will take a little while. Numerous coats of our cleaning solution were required to break through the 40+ year layer of growth on the roof. Although cleaned and ready to go, this roof will take a while to reach 100% potential. When buildup is over 40 years old, 1/8" thick, and never been touched, it will take a while for the remaining residue to break down and wash off of the roof with sun and rain. The roof will look amazing after a little time. It took for years to build up, and it could take a few months for all of the debris to wash off. This slate roof cleaning was one of the most challenging we have ever done, but one thing is for sure. If we can safely clean over 40 years of organic growth and buildup from a slate roof. Then we can certainly make your home or business look better with our zero pressure roof cleaning process. Have a look at how thick, old, and crusty this layer of growth is. One of the worst looking roofs I've ever seen, but what a fun one to restore. Something this old and historic doesn't come along every day. As certified roof cleaners through the Roof Cleaning Institute of America, we follow all of the RCIA guidelines for safe, effective results. Do you need some slate roof cleaning around Jacksonville, Florida? Call Ultrasoft today 904-304-0810 or visit our roof cleaning Jacksonville, Florida page on our website.

  8. Cleaning metal roofs can be fun, but it can also be dangerous. Walking on a metal roof when wet is a slippery ordeal. One must carefully plan every step of a metal roof cleaning, and in some cases, use of a harness, lift, or even just ladders may be necessary to make the process a safe one. Below are a couple examples of our Jacksonville, Florida metal roof cleaning results. Note the two story metal roof we cleaned. Access with ladders was limited to just one place, because of landscaping, architectural features (sloping roof angles) and other constraints. This roof required someone to actually climb it in order to clean the debris off and properly treat it. For safety, a fall harness was attached to the chimney, which allowed free movement on the roof, with a safety line to prevent serious injury or death. You can also see the tarps covering all of the plants below the roof line. Our certified roof cleaners take all the necessary steps to protect your landscaping and vegetation during the roof cleaning process. Our Jacksonville Florida clients get the best of the best both in the way of a great company to work with, and amazing results. These were not just safe roof cleanings, they gave our customers amazing instant results. For competent, safe, and certified roof cleaning experts in Jacksonville, Florida call Ultrasoft Pressure Washing today. 904-304-0810 f
  9. Another cedar shake roof cleaned and maintained in Blaine WA in the exclusive gated ocean front community of Semiahmoo. This cleaning on a 12 year old roof was done using the Sullivan Cedar Cleaning System method with no pressure washing. Contact Peak of Perfection Roof Cleaning at www.deadmoss.com for more information about proper cedar shake roof cleaning and maintenance.
  10. Don't replace your roof "Clean It!" The black ugly roof stains is an algae. I have been cleaning homes in the Cary & Raleigh area with black ugly roofs. It is destroying your roof. Insurance companies are starting to deny coverage if your roof has this algae, lichen or moss on your roof. They are making home owners clean their roofs for for good reason NEVER allow someone to get on your roof and pressure wash the shingles. A low pressure chemical should be applied to kill the algae and clean the roof. If rinsing is desired a pressure similar to your garden hose pressure should only be used. Or mother nature is the best. We call this Soft Washing a roof. We can make your Asphalt shingles look new again. Can't do anything about the already missing granules but we can help prevent you from losing more. Contact Elephant Roof Cleaning @ 919-207-0666
  11. Here is a nice example of how clean and shiny your metal roof could look. If your metal roof is black, dirty, and nasty looking, don't fret. Even metal roofs can be cleaned using zero pressure processes, with amazing results. This metal roof is a portion of the roof on a local Jacksonville, Florida church. This roof probably hadn't been cleaned in years, yet Ultrasoft Pressure Washing was able to renew it's appearance using zero pressure, environmentally safe methods. Our cleaning vastly improved the building's appearance instantly. Care still needs taken even when cleaning metal roofs. Run off from roof cleaning can cause issues with landscaping, painted surfaces, and other areas if not handled properly. Using the wrong types of cleaners could ruin the finish on your metal roof, drip edge, and more. Ultrasoft Pressure Washing uses metal roof cleaning methods approved by the Roof Cleaning Institute of America to ensure your metal roof is cleaned thoroughly and safely. Take a look at our results on this particular roof, and then call today for all of your roof cleaning Jacksonville, Florida needs. (904) 304-0810

  15. Adding Curb Appeal Can Sell Your Home Faster In a slow real estate market, a person can generally sell their home quicker by dropping their asking price. In a market where supply is greater than demand, a desperate seller may see a lower price as their only option to shorten their home’s time on the market. There are however, other things that a seller can do that will help boost their home’s appeal to potential buyers. Some things can be done without costing any money while others may cost a few bucks. In the long run, a few well-spent dollars can end up saving you thousands when you are not forced to drop your asking price in order to make a sale. Some things you can do that can potentially make your home more sellable aren’t done in or around your home. Your realtor can help add some ways to make your home more attractive to buyers. Sellers can often be enticed by things like money towards their closing costs or even entirely covering the closing costs as a way to sweeten the deal in a down market. Other things that can help motivate a buyer include a home warranty or an option to close the sale within 30-60 days. These types of incentives can make you home even more attractive. http://www.libertysoftwash.com/blog/adding-curb-appeal-can-sell-your-home-faster/ A seller may sometimes overlook or under prioritize the value of curb appeal The very first thing a potential buyer will see is what the home looks like from the outside. A home that doesn’t look appealing from the curb may be overlooked based on nothing other than it’s exterior appearance. Things like planting flowers, adding a fresh coat of paint to the front door or adding a new mailbox are inexpensive ways improve your home’s appearance at first glance. Some would argue that curb appeal is everything and your first impression often sets your expectations on the rest of the home. Another way to increase your home’s curb appeal is by cleaning your home’s exterior. Dirty sidewalks, siding, patios or decks can be an instant turn off for potential buyers. The standard of cleanliness you maintain on your home’s exterior is often measured against your home’s interior cleanliness, when being viewed by potential buyers. A dirty roof may also set off a false alarm telling buyers a roof needs to be replaced and will cost thousands of dollars. Having your roof professionally cleaned will only cost a fraction of the cost of roof replacement. Removing roof algae will dramatically improve curb appeal and eliminate the threat of losing a buyer because of an unsightly roof. Liberty SoftWash is an excellent choice when considering hiring a pressure washing contractor in Lancaster Pennsylvania and surrounding area Our exterior cleaning services are just what you need to add some curb appeal to your home. Cleaning your roof or pressure washing your siding is an affordable way to spruce up your home before you contact your real estate agent to list your home. Call today to discuss your roof cleaning or pressure washing needs. (717) 578-5342
  16. Spring is finally here in Central Pennsylvania despite the unseasonable cold temperatures we are still dealing with. According to the experts, it could be a particularly difficult season for allergy and asthma sufferers. Over 40 million Americans who are used to dealing with spring allergies know that the end of March means the start of runny noses, watery eyes and other uncomfortable allergy symptoms In recent years, we have seen milder winters, which meant the early arrival of both pollen and spring allergies. Because we have had a much longer and colder winter, allergy season may start later and end sooner but, could pack quite a punch to the allergy sufferers in Central Pennsylvania while it is here. Oftentimes, the only way for an allergy sufferer to get some relief this time of year is to stock up on allergy pills and nasal sprays in an effort to minimize the suffering. Asthma sufferers are worse off than the average seasonal allergic person. Because it is typically the early spring that is the worst for asthma, doctors recommend asthmatics begin using their prescribed medications well before spring and spring allergy season begins. For those seasonal allergy sufferers who are not given relief from over-the-counter drugs, it may be necessary to take different measures. Newly available medications including immunotherapy pills work in the same manner as allergy shots have in the past. But there are precautions that can be taken to help ease the impending suffering of a person with springtime allergies in addition to whatever type of medications you would use to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergies. The savvy asthmatic or allergy sufferer will find it helpful to keep track of local pollen counts, which can be found online or by checking your local weather forecast. By keeping track of the pollen counts, it may make it easier to avoid outdoor activities. If it is still necessary to spend time outdoors, it may be most comfortable for allergy or asthmas to do so in the afternoon. Generally, the counts tend to highest between 5AM and 10AM and at their lowest right after a heavy rainfall. But also know that pollen can blow as much as 50 miles, making very difficult to escape! Another way to lessen the suffering from seasonal allergies is to try to keep pollen out of your home environment. Coats, jackets, shoes and hats should be taken off immediately upon entry to your home so help prevent contaminating other parts of your home with pollen that was carried into your “pollen free†living environment. Showering before bedtime to remove any residual pollen is also a necessary step to prevent transfer of pollen to your bedding. Cleaning your home’s exterior is yet another way to keep nasty pollutants such as pollen or algae from triggering allergic reactions. Regular cleaning of your home’s exterior including sidewalks, driveways, decks and other surfaces will help wash away the pollen, algae and other pollutants that cause springtime seasonal allergies. Liberty SoftWash, located in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKkhCFutRVA, is a great choice for all your exterior cleaning needs. Some of the services we provide include: pressure washing, soft wash roof cleaning, house washing, deck cleaning, gutter cleaning and more. Call the professionals at Liberty SoftWash for your exterior cleaning needs in Central Pennsylvania. (717) 578-5342

  18. Why would you worry about cleaning your roof? We've all seen it on trees and rocks those round plant things, green moss, and blackness, but what are they and why should you care if they’re on your roof? They don’t seem to hurt the rocks or trees so who cares if they grow on my roof. Well not only do they make your home look dreary and dirty but actually they are feeding off one of your biggest investments, your roof. A roof left with all these organisms actively growing is constantly deteriorating and will eventually cause a leak in the roof. Due to the potential for roof leaks many Homeowners Insurance Co. are now forcing their clients to have the roof cleaned or immediately replaced. Most clients have it cleaned. Lets face it the last thing anybody needs is another bill, but given the benefits of having your roof cleaned it just makes sense. Some of the benefits are; Instant curb appeal- don't be the neglected house in the neighborhood. Instant increased value- if your thinking of selling nobody is gonna buy your nasty roof. Your health- do you think breathing in that mold and bacteria is good for you? Save on heating/cooling bills- those organisms hold heat and moisture causing your heating/cooling bills to be higher. Common sense- spend a little now on cleaning and put off spending alot on premature replacement. The benefits go on and on. To take immediate advantage of the many benefits do what most people do and call Sussex County Roof Cleaning now. Sussex County Roof Cleaning No Pressure=No Damage 973-948-2700 www.sussexcountyroofcleaning.com
  19. Here's yet another asphalt shingle roof cleaning from our Jacksonville, Florida roof cleaning company. This customer is a referral who is actually in St. Augustine, which we don't mind travelling a little bit for. This asphalt shingle roof had never been cleaned, and was about 10 years old. Being a light colored roof, it looked pretty terrible before we got to it. One funny thing about roof cleaning. If you don't take before and after pics, the homeowner will often think there wasn't much change at all. Heck, we even forget how bad a roof looked before we did our roof cleaning sometimes. This was done on a cool 50-55F degree day, so it took a little more dwell time to get it just right. The reason we get these referrals is because we do great work. We take extra time to protect our customers landscaping and property. We use the best cleaners, a stringent process, and pay close attention to detail. Our customers know that when hiring Ultrasoft Pressure Washing LLC to clean their home or business, they are getting the best roof cleaning company in Jacksonville, Florida. Look at what a difference a short few hour visit from our company can make for your home. Want to get your home or business looking its best for spring and summer?
