  1. Yeah new to game so need all the help I can get. I will try that tomorrow to get rid of the chalky residue and thanks!!! what mix of H2O to gain to SH should I use percentage wise?
  2. I cleaned it with sodium hypochlorite and arm and hammer oxyclean mixture. I rinsed it with plain water from from pressure washer using the rinse tips from pressure tek.
  3. Hey Guys I haven't posted in a while but I finally got my Rig together and washed my 2nd house yesterday. After the first side dried though all the dirt and mold was clean but there was a chalky oxidized look over the whole side. What is the best way to approach cleaning the next time I run into this> Is the re a detergent or something because it looked like crap to me. Thanks Joe Mihalchick

  5. Thanks also Gary. Sorry just saw your post above Chris's. I have a tractor supply around where I live so will check it out there. I will stay in the 5/8 in size. Just looking for the most reasonable cost. If I can make this compressor unit I saw work then great if not I will buy the 12v kit for now from pressure tech which comes with entire system minus a battery. Thanks guys
  6. Well all in all the package systems range at Pressure Tek from $350 to $600. I Would like to Keep everything to around $1400 including a trailer and tank I have priced out at Northern Tool. I just found a compressor on Craigslist for a couple hundred and maybe can build from there. Which leads me to the question on which hose to use to get me going. Would a regular pressure washer hose work or would I need a chem resistant one? Just weighing all my options. Let me know if you need anymore details? thanks Chris
  7. Hey Everyone, I am pretty much ready to jump in to the roof cleaning business. I have a question for starters though. As far as what hose to use, can I start with any pressure wash hose or does it have to be special chemical resistant hose? Pressure tek sells starter soft wash kits but I was thinking of buying parts of it at other places to get it cheaper. Again just starting with limited funds but am ready to start ordering today. Let me know what you experienced guys think Thanks Joe Mihalchick
  8. I am still new here but that is a great pitch. I start next week with my new equipment and hope you don't mind me using your pitch to get my feet wet? Thx
  9. Yes thanks Gary I am glad I came across your site. It really appears that all you guys are more than willing to share your expertise. I will really appreciate that in the next coming weeks. I would like to get some gear and start washing, will start with my roof and house first. So any help will be greatly appreciated. Joe
