Will do. I cleaned a tile roof today but since it was tile I used my house wash soap instead. I've got three shingle roof cleanings next week so I'll be using the Green Wash.
I bought it directly from the SoftWash Systems office in Sanford, FL. I don't think it was any cheaper than anywhere else, but since I was there it saved me shipping.

Interesting! I used to have hose ends put on and I liked them!
Problem is, the long drive and last time they said "We don't have the parts in"
    Ahhhhh! Should have called 1st.
Now, partly because I only work 2 days a week, due to multiple health issues, my income is 1/2 to 1/3rd, of when I worked full time, so I use hose clamps!
It's no fun watching my Home Equity Loan go from $26,000 to $71,000 in the last 4 years. But, whatcha gonna do if ya just can't handle it anymore?
I was too dumb back in the $$$ days, to set up anything for retirement, I traveled the country 1 or 2 times a year and spent it all-until 4 years ago and now I stay home!
So, after all the rambling, I guess I won't be buying this machine or the 100 clamps, unless I find them for sale used somehow. Ya, good luck on that Chuck! LOL

I agree but when you were a admin or have a lot of your own personal post pinned to the top and then you only say the products you sell are the best or one sided  point of view to get sales that's wrong and bad info and will not help the RCIA at all. If your a vendor then post when the other vendors do for the products. If the RCIA is all about creating sales then so be it.. I am just saying giving these guys info or view points on products you only sell is not un biased. You sell product A or B then great but dont say product cdefg are junk or not as good just because you dont sell it. That's all i am saying and there is not 1 other vendor that does this on this forum. If your going to be a vendor then post products you sell and that's that.. Its a fourm and if the info is miss leading then I think anyone should be able to speak up. In my opinion I feel like the new guys are just not getting info they are getting products that are funneled from the site info should be #1 sales should be #2 just my opinion.

I totally understand your concerns about Vendors being Moderators, or Admin's in charge of things.
LOL, you don't dare say any thing negative about the stuff they sell, for fear of being banned, edited, or ridiculed.
This happens all the time on Facebook, because many Facebook Groups are little more than one big sales machine for certain vendors, or ORG's

Man I am just calling it how I see it. Ill keep it short because I don't want to start a pissing contest with you but your an admin and also a distributor whos pushing products only you sell and creating sales funnels. There are sales sections in the fourm that you can post to for vendors. The RCIA should be about learning and good quality info not a admin trying to sell products.

Kevin I am not trying to get in a pissing contest with you I am just saying we all know you sell price pumps but ive never really heard of them because they are a small company. When I called companies that have been selling price, husky and aro pumps every single one of them said they prefer the husky and aro over the price. Ive not used a price but on your website it says " With up to 50 GPM of flow and the ability to handle vertical head lifts of up to 250 ft. you can clean a 10 story building with a 20 CFM compressor. "  If you look at that sentence you have a period after you says it can handle vertical head lifts up to 250 ft. THEN it says YOU can clean a 10 story building with a 20cfm compressor. Now that may just be shitty wording or shady marketing strategies but I am no newbie and with a new guy from the forum gets funneled into your website and reads price pumps are the best and you can clean 10 stories I mean what are the chances that they interpret that the wrong way.

Hi there my name is Manu Harrison I'm a newbie here but I have been fascinated by sh and surfactants for the last few years. I live in England and just completed my first trial roof cleaning job It's hard going trying to convince people that non pressure roof cleaning is as efficient as you all have shown me. Anyway we don't have gain ultra here or dawn so most people here would use fairy liquid dish soap. Chris I read once when you looked at the ingredients of this product you said it would be fine to use but only to add it just prior to cleaning. Fairy liquid contains mainly anionic surfactants so I followed this and found an off the supermarket shelf product that was 15-30% anionic and 5% non ionic surfactant. Which has worked fantastically imho. I have read a lot of your posts on surfactants and have spent hours in stores looking at anything from fabric softeners to hair shampoo always striving to find something cheap that was high in non ionic surfactants. I believe I came across a product that may really help us in England I will purchase some tomorrow and get the details back to you. This a label off what I used on this clay tile roof available in all supermarkets in the UK.

    CHARLOTTE COUNTY PRESSURE WASH

CHARLOTTE COUNTY PRESSURE WASH DOES NOT PRESSURE WASH ROOFS!
Our father and son business has cleaned roofs with no pressure for most of 20 years.

Call for a free, firm, price quote, not a changeable "estimate" I look at almost all roofs in person to quote an accurate price. Over the phone "guesstimates" could change, when the contractor actually sees what he has to do. Not Good!
    941-474-8883  Landline In Englewood,Florida
Prior to that, we pressure washed all roofs and while they "looked" clean, watching the granules blow off of shingled roofs and the occasional tab flip up, took away the good feeling of restoring a roofs appearance.
I said "Looked" because pressure washing does not kill the living algae Gloeocapsa magma.
"Gloeocapsa magma is a species of cyanobacteria.
Cyanobacteria are an ancient line of photosynthesizing bacteria.. Ancient cyanobacteria were ancestral to the chloroplasts of all plants on earth."
It can't be seen, because there is less of an infestation after power washing and blowing it all up under your roofing and onto everything within 20' of your roof edge. But it continues to grow on your roof and now under it and on your house walls, driveway, walk and anything the blown off bacteria hit. It will be seen as black again, in 1 to 1 1/2 years.
This algae [ bacteria ] can live through our SW Florida scalding temperatures! Roofs reach here for months!
It can also live through nights in the teens in the winter.
Some products are sold, that say they "WILL NOT HARM PLANTS"
Well, if they won't harm your delicate hibiscus or bouganvilla leaves etc, how on Earth are they going to kill that super tough plant [ This bacteria is in the plant family ] growing on your roof? THEY WON'T, so even if these new chemicals could make your roof "appear" clean, it's still coated in living, growing Gloeocapsa magma ! [they don't look clean, I have tested 3 on my back roof, that is cut into the woods. They make it an uneven, light tan, after about 3-5 months, then after a year or so, it's back to black again! ]
    HOW ABOUT TILE ROOFS?
On tile, because the roof has to be walked on everywhere, the amount of broken / cracked tiles will be high and only if the worker is very honest, will you ever know it. Many just kick them back together and they are hard to see from the ground. Pressure also often blows pieces of your soft ridge cap cement off into space! This soft cement is always cracked up and chunks can easily be blown away. Then there is the glazing that comes on most tiles, after each power wash job, you will have less and less glazing left and your roof will be a dull, faded example of what it was prior to being beat up a couple of times with a pressure cleaning machine! Even worse, is a "surface cleaner" it has SET jets that barely reach the valley portions of barrel tile, but blast the top rounded portions unbelievably hard! You can see me using a yellow surface cleaner [1st photo and others ] One of the pictures, shows a silver colored surface cleaner destroying a shingled roof. { It's not me! } See in attached photos. These are actually Flat Surface Cleaners, originally made specifically for flat cement-driveways, walks and parking lots only!

The ARMA also says not to allow anyone to apply any roof coatings. This is a common sales gimmick. Usually pressure washing companies-not roof cleaning companies-will pressure wash your roof and then sell you an after coating, which they want to reapply every 2 years. Names like Roof-A-This cide etc. Not wanting to name any specific one. Read the ARMA warning below.

Seriously? It does VERTICAL LIFTS to 10 stories with a 20 CFM compressor. And I'll put it up again a 1050 with a 20 CFM compressor any day of the week. Bring it.
If you have a personal issue with me, take it private.

  17. PeakOfPerfection added a post in a topic NEW 1" PUMP AND IM NOT IMPRESSED! HELP

If you bothered to READ the website, I never claim the Price will SHOOT 10 stories. No 1" pump will do that. What I say is that it will LIFT FLUID 10 Stories and it will do so with far less CFM than most other competing pumps. It is an alternative to our Flojet pumps which are great, but are limited in head pressure capability. Think that doesn't make any difference? My client who just cleaned a 10 story hospital in Kentucky and my client who cleans 15-20 story buildings in Vancouver will tend to disagree.
The Price is more efficient with a low air supply than any other pump I've used and tested and the statement on the Husky 1050 comes from experience with that pump. It it not that it is a bad pump, it is just a pump that requires a lot of air to really wake up. That is real world experience. We tried it. On our truck and in our test rig and then and there decided it wasn't our favorite pump because it needed more air supply than most people had. Sold it to a guy who had a 30 CFM comp and he is perfectly happy with it. I've actually used them ALL on rigs. I've sprayed with the Husky (1040, 1050), ARO (Pro and Expert series), Wilden, Versamatic, Sandpiper, Yamada and Price. I consider the ARO to be a better pump than the Husky any day of the week, and the Price is beyond that in terms of build quality, longevity and efficiency.

Listen to your Son! Come to the Dark Side. Here is your answer...one pull and you are spraying. More distance, but capable of FAR less flow (want to put a 1/2 PM mist nozzle on it? no problem!). No batteries.  Just add fuel from time to time (it sips fuel) and change the oil occasionally.

Hey guys I made a video on how to put on hose clamps on yourself just how to hose suppliers do. This  really gets the best fitting on your hoses ( much better than the cheap ones your screw on with a screw driver). Sometimes we go to hose suppliers but its easy and cheap to buy this tool and do it yourself for long term use its a must have for us. Check it out and make sure you subscribe if you like it

    Hello Chuck !
I have done extensive research into surfactants and "boosters" for the SH we all use. First of all, there is no SH Booster, as long as the PH of the SH solution is above PH 10.
Weak SH solutions may be boosted by things that raise their PH, and very very weak SH Solutions can be boosted by things like Jomax, or a weak acid.
However, any roof cleaning mix we are likely to use is already over PH 10, so no boosting is really possible.
    Now, on to the surfactants
My latest research indicates that the best surfactant to use with the SH would be a NON IONIC one, that is totally unaffected by the SH.
Here is the MSDS for Green Wash. All it is is some kind of surfactant, as you can see. For all we know, it might be the type of surfactant I suggested ?  Who knows, because they are not required by law to tell   http://www.jracenstein.com/mmJRCSTORE/Audio/sds_Green-Wash.pdf
These guys "making" these products basically have them made for them. Some work, some don't.
What is really needed is someone to sell a NON IONIC Surfactant that is truly sodium hypochlorite resistant.
